Strictly Come Dancing
“Strictly Come Dancing” is British TV series show aired on BBC and is similar to “Dancing with the Stars”. All the performances are done by Pro/Am couples, i.e. one of the partners in couple is a professional dancer (and besides he has a role of dance teacher, dance instructor, trainer, mentor and choreographer for his or her partner), and another is an amateur, usually a celebrity, singer, actress, or other guest star. Each couple competes in Ballroom and Latin dance programs and is judged by the jury. The competitive component makes the show more thrilling. Before the performance each couple trains a lot, especially the amateur partner that needs to take the dance classes and learn the various dance moves. Apart from dance lessons drills, there are many things to contrive: every performance must be unique and special, because first of all it’s a dance show. Therefore, it’s a tough creative work that involves preparing a special dance dress, selection of suitable music, and of course the choreography.
